<p>Welcome to the FilamentBot technical support and quick-start guide. Whether you are using a Bambu Lab, Creality, Prusa, Anycubic, or other FDM 3D printer, use this guide to get optimal print results and resolve common issues.</p> <h3>1. Printer & Bambu AMS Compatibility</h3> <ul> <li><strong>Universal 1.75mm Standard:</strong> All our filaments are manufactured to a precise 1.75mm diameter (±0.02mm tolerance), compatible with 99% of FDM 3D printers.</li> <li><strong>Bambu Lab AMS:</strong> Our standard plastic spools fit directly into the Bambu Lab AMS and AMS Lite. If using cardboard spools, we recommend placing a reusable printed spool edge adapter (ring) to prevent edge wear and ensure smooth rotation.</li> </ul> <h3>2. Recommended Printing Parameters</h3> <table style="width: 100%; border-collapse: collapse; margin-top: 10px;"> <thead> <tr style="border-bottom: 2px solid #ddd; text-align: left;"> <th style="padding: 8px;">Material</th> <th style="padding: 8px;">Nozzle Temp</th> <th style="padding: 8px;">Bed Temp</th> <th style="padding: 8px;">Print Speed</th> <th style="padding: 8px;">Notes</th> </tr> </thead> <tbody> <tr style="border-bottom: 1px solid #eee;"> <td style="padding: 8px;"><strong>Standard / Matte PLA</strong></td> <td style="padding: 8px;">190°C – 220°C</td> <td style="padding: 8px;">50°C – 60°C</td> <td style="padding: 8px;">50 – 300 mm/s</td> <td style="padding: 8px;">Easiest to print, cooling fan 100%</td> </tr> <tr style="border-bottom: 1px solid #eee;"> <td style="padding: 8px;"><strong>PETG</strong></td> <td style="padding: 8px;">230°C – 250°C</td> <td style="padding: 8px;">70°C – 80°C</td> <td style="padding: 8px;">40 – 200 mm/s</td> <td style="padding: 8px;">Stronger, fan 20–50%, keep dry</td> </tr> <tr style="border-bottom: 1px solid #eee;"> <td style="padding: 8px;"><strong>PLA-CF (Carbon Fiber)</strong></td> <td style="padding: 8px;">210°C – 230°C</td> <td style="padding: 8px;">55°C – 65°C</td> <td style="padding: 8px;">50 – 250 mm/s</td> <td style="padding: 8px;"><strong>Requires hardened steel nozzle</strong></td> </tr> </tbody> </table> <h3>3. Quick Troubleshooting & Problem Solving</h3> <ul> <li><strong>First Layer Not Sticking / Warping:</strong> <ul> <li>Clean the textured PEI sheet with warm water and mild dish soap to remove invisible finger grease (IPA alcohol alone may spread grease).</li> <li>Lower your printer's Z-offset by 0.02mm for slightly more squish.</li> <li>Increase bed temperature by 5°C and disable the part cooling fan for the first 3 layers.</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Stringing & Oozing:</strong> <ul> <li>Lower nozzle temperature by 5°C – 10°C.</li> <li>Increase retraction distance and retraction speed in your slicer.</li> <li>If you hear faint popping sounds or notice rough walls, the filament has absorbed humidity. Dry it in a filament dryer box at 50°C for 4–6 hours.</li> </ul> </li> <li><strong>Extruder Clicking / Under-extrusion:</strong> <ul> <li>Raise nozzle temperature by 10°C to reduce flow resistance.</li> <li>Check for heat creep or filament dust in the extruder gears.</li> </ul> </li> </ul>
